NURSE AMY, TO THE RESCUE!!!!!

last week i was the nurse at camp omega and i had TWO medical emergency's. the first one was on thursday when the other maintence girl was stung by a bee and she is severly allergic to them. i had to give her an epinephrine shot in her leg and then take her to the emergency room, it was sweet:) then on friday when all the kids go home some of the boys were haveing a pillow fight and a kid got his arm pulled out of socket. it was cool, he was balling like a little baby:) it went right back into socket, but we had to put a sling on it and ice it and i gave him some ibprofin and told him to toughen up:) just kidding, i didn't really say that, but i should have:) my mother and i ran a race this morning in waseca, it was 4.2 miles, it went around clear lake. i got 41 minutes and only walked one time at the 3.2 mile mark because my calves were super tight and my foot was numb. mother got 33:56 for her time, she did really well. we don't know our places though because they weren't very organized at all, i was in the middle and mother was in the front. there was a lot of people there so it was fun, and it only cost $5.00, and we got a t-shirt:) oh, yes, and for those of you who don't know yet, adam and i are going to be parents:) i am due on march 1st, so you can send us money to buy stuff:) and i can still run the 1/2 marathon, the dr. said it was okay to run it, so my plans aren't ruined:) well, i must play some computer games now so tschuss!!!!
