Well, last week i decided that i need to sneak up north one more time before baby is born:) so liam, josie and i went up on wednsday night. we got up there at 11:00. liam stayed awake the entire way, until just after deer river, which is only a half hour away from our destination!! christa and jese got up there around 1:00am. thursday we didn't do to much since everybody was tired from staying up late. dad, ben, ben's friend and brad came up thursday night. on friday we had a perfect day. the weather was SUPER nice, i even got sunburned!! the dock got put in and l&j got to do some fishing. dad took liam and jese out in the boat fishing thursday night, liam had a lot of fun! when they got back from fishing we played 5 crowns, it was fun! on saturday dad and brad had to go 2 1/2 hours away for a poker tournament. dad got 11th place,so he is going to las vegas, good job father:)!!!! christa and jese left saturday and since dad wasnt there either i decided to head home too. liam was ultra crabby from staying up late fishing and playing and no nap, so that helped the decision to come home:) we left at 2:00, which naptime is usually 1:00, so i figured, PERFECT time to leave since they were both super tired. well, my plan didn't work out quit as well as i had planned. josie didn't fall asleep until elk river and liam didn't fall asleep at all!!! it was NOT a fun ride home! they were both sooooo crabby and were fighting and dropping stuff on the floor and yelling, not fun! we did make it home in 5 1/2 hours, which for us is pretty fast! it usually takes around 6 hours to get back. I am glad we came home saturday because then we got to spend the day with adam on sunday. since it was mother's day, i got to sleep in:) after i finally dragged myself out of bed we went on a mission to find my birthday/mother's day present. i wanted a patio swing. we went to mankato to home depot, menards, lowes and target and couldn't find any! menards had a super nice 2 seater one, but it was expensive, so the mission continued. we headed back to waseca and looked at the 3 hy-vee had, but they didn't carry them in stock, they only had them set up so you could look at them and then order online! walmart didn't have any, so adam called the owatonna wal-mart and they had some! so we headed to owatonna and FINALLY got one!! we didn't get home until almost 6:00!! adam grilled us pork chops and made baked potatoes, then we had DQ cake for desert. after supper adam put together the swing and we had a bon fire. it was a PERFECT night for a fire, no bugs yet!! l&j BOTH fell asleep snuggled next to adam on the swing:) today i have been avoiding putting away the up north stuff, so that's why you finally got an update on here:) i guess since itis almost 6:00 i better get going and make some supper:) have a great evening! guten nacht!
