Adam and i went up north deer hunting on wednesday night after i was done with work. we drove up with my father. thursday we walked back to mine and cassie's stands to decide if we wanted to go there or in back of lenway's cabin, we decided to go to our stands because there was a lot of deer sign. thursday afternoon my dad, grandpa, les and i played cards and les and my dad drank beer:) then we went out for a drive around to look for deer and i learned how to spin the tires on a diesel truck, now i am like a professional diesel truck driver. we played cards at night too, then around 9:00 i took the diesel out again and drove my father, mark lenway, his brother, and jeff allen to the HOOT AND HOLLER bar, then drove them home around11:30. by the time we got back cassie,nick, jese, and christa had all made it there. we all went to bed when we got back. friday cassie and christa catered to my father because for some reason he wasn't feeling to well:) then cassie, christa, nick, jese, adam, and i all went out to christa and jese's stands. we discovered that jese needs to learn how to use a compase!! on saturday everybody got up nice and early around 5:00AM, yes, even me, and went out deer hunting. i didn't see anything, cassie hit a nontypical deer but couldn't find it, dad seen one going out to his stand, adam seen two while he was walking and one on the stand but couldn't get a shot, and shitto didn't see anything. christa, mark lenway, ben, sam, jeff, and jamie(jeff's daughter) all got deer. we had a card turnament saturday night but had to cut it short because they had to go take down some stands. on sunday i slept in because i was sick, and so did christa, but everybody else went out. i went out in the afternoon. sam, tom, shitto, les, and nick all got deer. nick had 3 deer walk in and he shot 2 of them, they were his first deer every, he did a very good job. i went home sunday night with cassie and nick. we got to my mother and fathers house about 1:00, we made it there in 4 hours!! then we spent the night there, and cassie and nick didn't even get up to go the rest of the way home like they were supposed to. i went home and i have never seen a happier dog in my life, bronx was so very happy i was home he jumped on me and when i wouldn't let him jump up on me anymore he just jumped in the air, he is so cute:) adam made it home late monday night, which was actually early tuesday morning. he had to help lee and shitto drag out their monster deer they got. well, that is pretty much the weekend of opener deer hunting, now i must go eat something because i haven't ate anything all day!! chaio!
