A Driving Adventure!

Hello!! Today Liam was super crabby and NEEDED to sleep for naptime. he will NOT fall asleep here anymore, so i told l&j that we were going to go on a driving adventure today. it just happened to be right at naptime:) they both fell asleep after about 15 minutes of driving. they weren't asleep yet when i got pulled over by a cop though:) i was leaving a 30 mph zone and going into a 55 mph zone and apparently i started speeding up to quickly! it was on a road i rarely go on, so i wasn't sure when the 30mph ended, so it was an honest mistake! he let me go with a warning, so i was very happy with that:) after they were asleep i almost hit a big turkey, there were 2 of them alongside the road and one decided to fly up at the van! but i slowed way down so my windshield missed it by about 2 feet! after the turkey i was talking to adam on the phone and he told me we could drive over to the house he was working on. at that time we were on the west side of sheildsville, and the place he was roofing is about 20 minutes east of faribo. i only half listen to the directions so that way it could be an adventure finding them since it was in the middle of no-where land:) i found it without even making any wrong turns, i am pretty sure i have an internal GPS:) as you can tell by the first 2 pictures, it really was the middle of no-where, when i was almost to the house, i came across a herd of cows in the middle of the road!! it was pretty funny, one was just standing there looking at me, then about 4 more decided they had to cross the road in front of me! l&j were sleeping, so they didn't get to see them right away, but after we left from visiting, the cows were still there, so they got to see them. they both were pretty excited to watch the cows, since they were standing right next to the van! when we finally made it back to waseca we stopped at mothers house and l&j played outside there for awhile, then we came home and they played outside some more unitl almost 7:00. then we came in and i made waffels for supper, gave them a bath, then layed josie down for bed! liam is now watching a movie, then it will be bedtime for him to. i completly forgot to write that liam went to the dentist on thursday! it was his first visit to see the dentist and he did a SUPER good job! he liked going there. they did x-rays, cleaned and flossed his teeth and put floride on them. he doesn't have any cavitys and the dentist said his teeth look perfect:) they gave him a new lightening mcqueen toothbrush, so now he wants to brush his teeth all the time! well, i think this is plenty long for tonight! have a great evening!! guten nacht!
