Saving Money Galore!

They have both grown a little in the past 2 years:)

Hello!! today i was busy! christa wanted me to bring her some books so she could have something to read. so, because gas is so cheap, i brought them to her! then i went to mankato and went to target. after target i went to noodles and company for a nice quiet lunch by myself and read my new book that i bought at target. after that i headed to hy-vee. at hy-vee they didn't have my yogurt on sale. i buy chobani greek yogurt because i love it. the only problem is that it is EXPENSIVE!! i knew that it was cheaper at target, and i had coupons for it. hy-vee also didn't have their organic cereal that i buy on sale, so that to is expensive, and they also have that at target for cheaper. before heading back to target i decided i would just go and check at cub foods to see if they had yogurt and cereal for cheaper, but they didn't. SO, i after that i went back to target! today i saved over $26 with coupons! what a good deal!! really i saved much more than that because a LOT of the stuff i bought was on sale. the bread i buy is usually almost $4 per loaf, but it was on sale for $1.88! so that was a good deal too!! our grocery bill has been getting more and more expensive so i decided i better start using coupons and watching the prices at different stores so i can save some money! while i was at target today i registered for a baby registery because then i got a $20 shutterfly gift card, and a bunch of other coupons. so i only registered for 2 things just so i could get the coupons and gift card:) i am so sneaky:) i also saved a lot of money today from shutterfly. i am WAAAAAY behind in printing off pictures, like i need to print off all the pictures since september of 2009!!! so i had a thing for 101 free prints, then the $20 gift card, then the website has free shipping of orders of $30 or more, so i got 400 pictures for only $32! i saved over $50 on my pictures, what a deal!! so, i am happy with myself today for saving so much money! all weekend i was looking up coupons for the grocerys i do buy. often in the paper it is just coupons for unhealthy junk food, so i looked at the websites for the brands that i buy and printed off coupons! i am so smart:) today i called my human resource lady and she is getting all my paper work filled out so i can start getting paid for my short term disablitly! when i was pregnant with liam and josie we only got paid from adam's paychecks, so it will be nice for me to still get paid this time! i like working for the state:) i think it is time for me to go to bed now because i am very sleepy, have a great night! guten nacht!
