Baby Eli Has Arrived!!!

On friday baby Eli James FINALLY arrived:) i went into the hospital to be induced at 7:00, the dr came in at 8:30 and broke my water and then around 9:30 they started pitocin, then around 12:15 baby was ready to be pushed out, but the dr was eating lunch, so since i had an epidural we just waited until she was ready and at 1:15 baby Eli was born! everything went really well and my epidural worked wonderfully:) Eli weighed EIGHT pounds! that is almost 2 pounds bigger than l&j were when they were born! no wonder by belly was SOOOO big:) he was 19 1/2 inches long, so way longer then l&j too!! liam and josie are doing VERY well with their new baby brother! josie just watches and watches him, it is cute:) we got to come home yesterday. Eli did pretty good sleeping last night. now today he has been sleeping pretty much ALL day, hopefully he isn't awake all night! now i am going to go take a shower, so have a great non-rainy day!! guten tag!
