For those of you who don't know yet, we had to put Bronx to sleep on thursday. while we were up north he bit my cousin, jack, for absolutly no reason. he had been getting more and more aggressive over the past several months, he would bark super mean at people, even kids, walking down the sidewalk and he growled at liam for no reason a few times and he even nipped at me once. so after he bit jack we knew we had to put him to sleep. it was the hardest thing i ever have had to do, he was a super good dog other than his barking. it was kind of like he had 2 different personalities because he would let liam pull, hit,and crawl all over him and he would just sit there and let him do it, but then there was just a mean side to him to i guess. i cryed and cryed and was up until 2:00am the night he bit jack because i knew what we had to do and i couldn't even look at him after that because i was so sad. i have tears running down my face right now just writing this!! he bit jack on tuesday night and adam brought him home with him on wednesday and rick brought him to the vet on thursday morning. we will miss him a lot, when i got home the house just didn't seem right, it was very empty and sad. So on saturday when we were at pet expo in mankato we were looking at the wall with dogs for sale on and seen an ad for lab puppies for sale,so we called and went and got one:) We got a girl black lab, she is super pretty and both of her parents are labs, so we won't have any springer mixed in, that is what bronx was mixed with and i think that is why he was mean and barked because that is what springer's do. unlike christa and jese, we picked a name right away, her name is Remmington, but we will call her Remmi for short. we thought we were funny naming her that since the sletta's dog's name is also after a gun:) adam is hopeing she won't be gun shy like bronx:) she is only 2 1/2 months old so she is still pretty little. anyways, enough about dogs:) up north was a lot of fun. we had perfect weather every day except the first 2 days we were there, so i got SUPER tan!!! we didn't do much while we were there except lay in the sun and i went canoeing a few times. i didn't even go in the boat fishing!!! i did go fishing off the dock with liam. there was a LOT of perch and sunnies at the end of the dock, so liam got caught a lot of fish, so he is pretty much an expert fisherman now:) well, i think my blog is long enough for tonight, so i will put up some pictures of Remmi, then the next blog i will put up some from up north!!! have a great sunday!! peace out!!
