Cassie and nick came up on friday night for karl's funeral, they stayed at my house. saturday was the day of karl's memorial service. it was exteremly hard to see the pohlmann's, but i thought they were doing much better handeling it then i would have. it doesn't even seem real that he is gone, it's not right. they figured they had about 400-500 people there, which is a lot of people supporting their family. the last time i seen karl was at adam and mine wedding reception. i'm glad everybody in our family, cousin's, aunt's, and uncles were all at the memorial service. the only one not there was andy, and he is in the marines so he couldn't come home. after the memorial service we went to the pohlmann house and visited and looked at pictures of karl growing up. after we left there we went to my parents house and ate a delish supper of steak, salad, shrimp appitizers, and mushrooms. it was super good. then we watched the dumbest movie i have ever seen, into the blue, i don't recommend it to anyone, unless you want to put yourself to sleep:) we went home around 10:00. bronx was happy to have us home since he had been in his kennel since 8:00AM. we all went to bed pretty early. we got up around 9:00 and went back to mother and father's house. this time we brought bronx with us. dad made us waffle's that were YUM-O, he had fresh real maple syrup, directly from the maple syruping woods, and strawberry's that we picked this summer, and whipped cream. they were delish, but i only had maple syrup on them. and we had sausage too. we stayed there until around 3:00 then everybody went back to there homes. adam and i stoped at larry and vivian's on our way home and bronx met there pug for the first time. she attacked and bit at him so he was affraid of her, it was pretty funny. bronx went swimming at the pond at my parents house and was really wore out. adam and i finally made it home and started to watch jarhead, but then adam's friends came over and they played cards and played with all the animals and wore them out some more. so that is what i did this weekend. now i need to do A LOT of work for school tomorrow because i had planned on doing it at work this weekend, but i didn't go to work, so it's not done!!! tschuss!!
